Well I'm all set for the wedding this weekend. I picked up my bridesmaid dress and it fits perfect, actually could of had another inch taken off the back, but it's perfect. Now we can get on with the show. I really enjoyed last night with my family. My mom and I where having a good time laughing about a few things that are currently going on in our lives. It's so important to laugh, I really wish I did more of it. I need to stop taking life so seriously all the time. That's my new goal too, laugh more!
I'm not sure if it was the two pieces of pizza that I ate the other night or the fact that I haven't had enough water for the last 2-3 days, but this morning the scales showed me what's going on. What's going on is that I gained 2 pounds. I'm not upset because this is the first time I've gained anything in about 2-3 weeks. I also know too that this will come off again. I am thinking with all the crazyness that's been going on lately that this would of happened sooner then later. So today, it's back to the basics and drinking all the water I need to and eating the foods too.
Make this a fantastic day!

Looking good
Good Morning to all. I first want to say that I am so glad that Makayla and my parents arrived home safely last night from spending 9 days in CA. They had a great time and tons of memories. So thankful that they had this opporunity to go, though I missed them while they where gone. I was able to pick them up from the airport yesterday afternoon and after giving the hugs, my parents said we see less of you. It sure was a great feeling to hear that. My dad also commented once we got home how he could tell. I know it's harder when your with someone all the time to really see the change, but being away and coming back...they noticed! I am excited for that.
Because it was a world wind once we got home no one was really in the mood to make dinner so Pizza Hut was called in to make it for us. For the first time in almost 4 months I had 2 pieces of thin crust pizza. I know it's not an all the time thing...actually not again till I reach my goal weight. But the odd thing was, it wasn't that good actually. I use to LOVE pizza, I could have it everyday if I wanted. But now, it wasn't so much. Crazy how things and tastes change......
Tonight I'll pick up my bridesmaid dress. She took 2 inches off each side and 4 in the back. I am a little nervous, but I think that's normal. Even though I have been losing the weight a part of me still is a little nervous that she didn't make it to small. With only 2 days left till we leave, it really leaves no time for error. So here's to hoping that all goes well. :) I'll let you know how it all turns out tomorrow.

A steady climb
One of my customer is a local University. Since I've been working with them I have had to climb 2 large set of steps and then walk about 30 feet to another smaller set. By the time I get inside the building I'd feel like I'd need an oxygen tank or a couch to sit down on for a few minutes. I did that for months. I would then walk slowly till I would catch my breath. I should of known then, or let that be a sign that things in my life where out of control. Well last week I was on campus for the first time in 5 months and I went up those stairs, into the building and to the office of the person I was visiting and not once felt like I was going to pass out. I also realized too that I wasn't carrying 70 plus pounds anymore. I'm excited to see what happens when I am not carrying 145 pounds anymore. :)
These types of accomplishments are exciting to me, it means that I am heading in the right direction and I know that all the progress I've made is all for the right reasons.
So don't be afraid to climb those stairs....

Pushing forward
Well this weekend sure went by way to quickly. But that seems to be the case with most weekends. I really am trying to locate a slow down button because I feel like this summer has flown by. This coming weekend I'll be flying to Denver to be a part of my cousins wedding. It's really a world wind trip, come Monday I'll be ready for a vacation. HA.
Anyways, this weekend was ok. I attended a few Hall of Fame events and everything went smoothly. I found myself being able to adjust to the environment and being able to enjoy myself. I did have a few things that I haven't or normally don't eat. But that was ok, it was a once time deal and I only had a small portion. So everything worked out well. Can't complain.
This week is shaping up to be a pretty interesting one. I will be getting my dress for my cousins wedding hopefully Wednesday, maybe sooner. I am a little nervous to try it on. She took 2 inches on each side and 4 inches in the back, it was a little tight when she was making her changes, but I also feel ok with everything as I've lost 5 more pounds since she did the measurements. So we'll see. I plan to document my experiences all weekend long, so be ready. HA!

100
This is my 100th blog. It's so crazy to think that I've been tracking this for 100 days. I have missed about 5-6 days through out the 100 blogs, but it's cool to have these, I go back and read from the beginning....I like where I'm headed.
This weekend is full of many things. My sister in law is having her baby show this afternoon...there will be cake.....and I'll just look at it and smile. This evening I have a Hall of Fame dinner to attend.....there will be carbs.....I'll look at them and smile. Tomorrow I am attending the tailgate party prior to the football game....football food, we know that there is really nothing "good" for you when you tailgate....I'll plan accordingly. Even though these events should make me a little nervous, I know I'll be fine because I have a plan. I won't waiver and come Monday morning I'll look back and realize I did everything right.
Also it's hard to believe that a week from today I'll be heading to Denver to be apart of my cousins wedding. I plan to document the whole 2 day trip via pictures....so look forward to seeing what happens. :)
Have a great day, a great weekend and don't forget to tell someone you love them.

The difference an attitude makes
How true that your attitude is everything. EVERYTHING. How you look at things, life and the people around you. This week has really been a good test for my attitude. I am working hard at changing my thoughts and how I let me attitude drives who I am. Many times in my life I have let others attitude determan how I handle things. Not anymore. Just like emotions drive food, others attitude won't get in the way of my attitude towards things in my life. I sit here this morning and reflect on 70 pounds, what I've gone through, where I'm headed and what the final goal will look like. I can't begin to explain how excited I am to see the new me. I don't "see" a lot of changes right now because in my mind I still see the way I once was. I know that over time it will eventually not be that way. But right now, that's how I see myself...my attitude needs to change. I hear people comment on how great I look and what a difference I have made, I believe it, just don't really see it at the moment. I think it happens to all of us when we're so use to seeing ourselves one way. I've seen myself this way for 13 years. That's a long time. BUT I'm more excited to see who I'm becoming.
No longer will I let the negativeness of this world dictate how I react to myself. This isn't what life is meant to be, love who you are and enjoy the ride, I am. :)
